DTC P0122 [L3] DETECTION CONDITIONS AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

TP sensor No. 1 circuit low input |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- If the PCM detects the TP sensor voltage is below 0.2 V
while the engine running to on, the PCM determines that the TP circuit has malfunction.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
- MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction conditions during the first drive cycles.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2/Mode12) is available.
- DTC is stored in the PCM memory.

| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- Connector or terminal malfunction
- TP sensor malfunction
- Short to ground in wiring harness between TP sensor terminal B and PCM terminal 2AO
- Open circuit in wiring harness between TP sensor terminal B and PCM terminal 2AO
- Short to ground in wiring harness between TP sensor terminal A and PCM terminal 2AK
- Open circuit in wiring harness between TP sensor terminal A and PCM terminal 2AK
- PCM malfunction
