DTC P2507 [L3] DETECTION CONDITIONS AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

DTC P2507 PCM B+ voltage low
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • The PCM monitors the voltage of back-up battery positive terminal at PCM terminal 1C. If the PCM detected battery positive terminal voltage below 2.5 V  for 5s  , the PCM determines that the backup voltage circuit has malfunction.

Diagnostic support note 
  • This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
  • MIL illuminates if PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
  • FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2/Mode12) is available.
  • DTC is stored in PCM memory.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Meltdown fuse
  • Short to ground between fuse and PCM terminal 1C
  • Poor connection of PCM connector
  • Open circuit in wiring between fuse and PCM terminal 1C
  • PCM malfunction
