Charging system voltage low input
DETECTION CONDITION
If 5 s or more
have elapsed with the generator output voltage 8.49 V or lower
and the battery output voltage 10 V or more
(even though the generator target output current while the engine is running is 19.5 A or more
), the PCM determines that the charging system circuit has a malfunction.
Diagnostic support note
This is a continuous monitor (other).
The MIL does not illuminate.
FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2)/Snapshot data is not available.
The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Drive belt exceeds limit
Generator connector or terminals malfunction
Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals:
Generator terminal D-PCM terminal 2AF
Generator terminal P-PCM terminal 2AE
PCM connector or terminals malfunction
Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
