Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

KNOCK SENSOR (KS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF]

1. Remove the battery cover.

2. Remove the negative battery cable. Removal and Replacement

3. Remove the dynamic chamber. Service and Repair

4. Disconnect the KS connector.

5. Remove the KS installation bolt, then remove the KS.






6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

KS tightening torque
- 16-24 Nm {1.7-2.4 kgf-m, 12-17 ft-lbf}
