Trunk Lid Latch Switch Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
Remove the trunk lid recess. (See TRUNK LID RECESS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the trunk lid trim. (See TRUNK LID TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the trunk lid latch and release actuator. (See TRUNK LID LATCH AND RELEASE ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

- If not as indicated in the table, replace the trunk lid latch and release actuator.
NOTE:
- When inspecting the latch condition of the trunk lid latch switch, press in the latch lever using a flathead screwdriver and set it to the latched position.
