Commander Switch Removal/Installation

CAUTION:
- The audio unit communicates with the commander switch and records the presence/non-presence of the commander switch when the ignition is switched to ACC or ON (engine off or on) after connecting the negative battery cable.
- If the commander switch is installed with the negative battery cable connected when the audio unit records that there is no commander switch, the commander switch does not operate.
- For the commander switch installation/removal, disconnect the negative battery cable, switch the ignition to ACC or ON (engine off or on) after the servicing is completed, and the audio unit records the presence/non-presence of the commander switch.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove the upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the screws.
- Remove the commander switch component from the upper panel.
- Remove the commander switch screws.
- Remove the commander switch from the bracket.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
