Vehicle interior, front

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL .) (See UPPER PANEL INSTALLATION .)
    2. Rear console (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Shift lever knob (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R] .)
    4. Selector lever knob (ATX) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    6. Front console box (See FRONT CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    7. CD player (with CD player) (See CD PLAYER REMOVAL .) (See CD PLAYER INSTALLATION .)
    8. Side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    9. Decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    10. Front console (See FRONT CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. While pressing the keyless antenna bracket tab in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, press it in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the keyless antenna bracket tab from the instrument panel.

  4. Remove the keyless antenna from the instrument panel
  5. Disconnect the connector from the keyless antenna.

  6. Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the position shown in the figure.

  7. Move the tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver in the direction of arrow (3) shown in the figure to press the keyless antenna bracket tab, and pull it in the direction of arrow (4) to detach the keyless antenna bracket from the keyless antenna.
  8. Remove the keyless antenna bracket from the keyless antenna.
  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
