Knock Sensor (KS) Removal/Installation
- Remove the battery cover.
- Remove the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF] ).
- Remove the dynamic chamber. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Disconnect the KS connector.
- Remove the KS installation bolt, then remove the KS.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
KS tightening torque
16-24 N.m {1.7-2.4 kgf.m, 12-17 ft.lbf}
