Vehicle Control Module (V/C-Module) Inspection (MRCC): Notes

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
  2. Remove the front scuff plate. (RH) (refer to FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the front side trim. (RH) (refer to FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
  5. Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the terminal voltage table (reference).
    • If the voltage is not as specified in the terminal voltage table (reference), inspect the parts under Inspection item (s).
      • If the system does not work normally even though the Inspection item (s) or related wiring harnesses do not have any malfunction, inspect the vehicle control module (V/C-module) using the on-board diagnostic system.
