No. 1 Additional Key Programming Procedure (Using Two Valid Keys): Procedure

NO. 1 ADDITIONAL KEY PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE (USING TWO VALID KEYS)

Step	Procedure	Action after procedure
1	LAUNCH PROGRAMMING MODE Switch the ignition ON using key 1. After verifying that the security indicator light illuminates for approx. 3 s and turns off, switch the ignition OFF (LOCK) within approx. 4 s. Remove key 1. Switch the ignition ON using key 2. After verifying that the security indicator light illuminates for approx. 3 s and turns off, switch the ignition OFF (LOCK) within approx. 4 s. Remove key 2.	Go to the next step.
2	PERFORM ADDITIONAL KEY PROGRAMMING Switch the ignition ON using key 3. Verify that the security indicator light illuminates for approx. 3 s, and then turns off. Remove key 3. Switch the ignition OFF (LOCK). Are there other keys to be programmed?	Yes	Go back to Step 1.
		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY THAT KEY IS PROGRAMMED Verify that the engine can start and run for approx. 5 s or more using all the programmed keys. NOTE: When verifying that the engine starts, wait approx. 5 s or more before starting the engine using the next key.	Procedure is completed.
