Power Outer Mirror Removal/Installation: Notes

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove the inner garnish. (See INNER GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the front door trim. (See FRONT DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the service hole and remove hooks A in the direction of arrow (1).
- Slide the service hole cover in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure and remove tabs B.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove bolts B.
- Pull the power outer mirror in the direction of the arrow while remove clips C, pins D.CAUTION:
- If clip C of the power outer mirror is detached, the power outer mirror may fall off and be damaged. When detaching clip C of the power outer mirror, hold the power outer mirror by hand during the servicing.
- Remove the power outer mirror.
- Install in the reverse order of removal. (See POWER OUTER MIRROR INSTALLATION NOTE .)
