Blower Fan Controller Inspection: Notes

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Dashboard under cover (See DASHBOARD UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Side wall (passenger-side) (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Front heat duct (passenger-side) (See FRONT HEAT DUCT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the blower fan controller. (See BLOWER FAN CONTROLLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Connect the blower fan controller connector.
Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).
Connect the negative (-) lead of the tester to body ground.
Insert the positive (+) lead of the tester into each blower fan controller terminal.
Measure the voltage according to the terminal voltage table.

- If there is any malfunction, inspect the parts under "Inspection item(s)".
  - If the parts under "Inspection item(s)" are found to be normal, replace the blower fan controller. (See BLOWER FAN CONTROLLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
