Electric At Oil Pump Removal/Installation: Notes
CAUTION:
- Do not drop or apply a shock to the electric AT oil pump. Replace the electric AT oil pump if it has been dropped or received an impact.
- Do not disassemble the electric AT oil pump. Replace the electric AT oil pump if it has been disassembled.
- Make sure that there is no silicone sealant or other foreign matter in the electric AT oil pump and transaxle. Otherwise, it could cause a malfunction.
- Turn the steering wheel left until it locks.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the front splash shield (LH). (Refer to FRONT SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.COMPONENT DESCRIPTION
1 Electric AT oil pump connector 2 Electric AT oil pump (See Electric AT Oil Pump Installation Note .) 3 O-ring - Install in the reverse order of removal.
- Adjust the ATF level. (Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID (ATF) ADJUSTMENT .)
