DTC P0708:00 (FS5A-EL) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| DETECTION CONDITION |
- Under the following conditions, TR switch voltage is 4.78 V or more for 5 s
- Vehicle speed is 8 km/h {5 mph} or more
- Battery positive voltage is 9 V or more
Diagnostic support note
- The check engine light illuminates if the TCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
- The automatic transaxle warning light illuminates if the TCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
- PENDING CODE is available.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
- The DTC is stored in the TCM memory.

- Inhibits 1GR, 4GR and 5GR
- Inhibits feedback control

| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- TR switch connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to power supply in wiring harness between TR switch terminal C and TCM terminal U
- TR switch malfunction
- TCM connector or terminal malfunction
- Open circuit in wiring harness between TR switch terminal C and TCM terminal U
- Open circuit in wiring harness between TR switch terminal B and TCM terminal V
- TCM malfunction
