Rear Abs Wheel-Speed Sensor Removal/Installation: Notes

  1. Remove the following parts:
    1. Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Trunk side pocket (See TRUNK SIDE POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
    4. Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Disconnect the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor connector.
  3. Press the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor tabs and press out the sensor toward the outside of the vehicle.
  4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  6. After installation, verify that there is no twisting in the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor.
