Buckle Switch Inspection

Switch the ignition off.
Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the front seat. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the front buckle. (See FRONT BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Inspect for continuity between the buckle switch terminals using a tester.

- If not as indicated in the table, replace the front buckle.
