Power Outer Mirror Removal/Installation: Notes

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove front door trim. (See FRONT DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove front door speaker. (See FRONT DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Move the tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the hook from the front door inner panel.

Remove the service hole cover.
Disconnect the connectors.

Remove the bolts.

Pull the power outer mirror in the direction shown in the figure and remove it while detaching the clip and pins.
CAUTION:
- Remove the clip while pressing the power outer mirror by hand. Otherwise, the power outer mirror may fall off and be damaged.
Install in the reverse order of removal. (See CLIP REPLACEMENT NOTE .) (See POWER OUTER MIRROR INSTALLATION NOTE .)
