DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

DTC P2540:00	Low fuel pressure sensor circuit range/performance problem
DETECTION CONDITION	Variation in fuel pressure is less than 5 kPa {0.05 kgf/cm² , 0.7 psi} with the following conditions met. MONITORING CONDITIONS Battery voltage: 8 V or more Ignition switched ON (engine on) Engine speed: 500-2, 500 rpm Engine load: 0.5 % The following DTCs are not detected: Low fuel pressure sensor: P2541:00, P2542:00 Diagnostic support note This is a continuous monitor (CCM). The check engine light does not illuminate. FREEZE FRAME DATA is not available. Snapshot data is available. DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
