Inspection using an oscilloscope (reference)

Roof link motor hall sensor

Terminal connected: power retractable hardtop control module 4P (RH), 4T (LH)-Negative battery terminal

Oscilloscope setting: 2 V/DIV (Y): 5 ms/DIV (X), DC range
Measurement condition: When the front roof is moving.

NOTE:

Pulse interval varies with the front roof operation speed.

Rear roof link motor hall sensor

Terminal connected: power retractable hardtop control module 4Q (RH), 4U (LH)-Negative battery terminal

Oscilloscope setting: 2 V/DIV (Y): 5 ms/DIV (X), DC range
Measurement condition: When the rear roof is moving.

Top lock motor hall sensor

Terminal connected: power retractable hardtop control module 4X-Negative battery terminal
