Diagnostic Procedure

SYSTEM SCREEN DISPLAYED IN ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY/DISPLAY IN ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY UNMATCHED DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step Inspection Action
1 INSPECT ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY Yes Go to the next step.
No Replace the active driving display.
(See ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2 VERIFY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONNECTOR CONDITION
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  • Disconnect the instrument cluster connector.
  • Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition, and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
  • Is the connector normal?
Yes Go to the next step.
No Repair or replace the connector.
3 INSPECT CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH Yes Go to the next step.
No Replace the cruise control switch.

4 INSPECT RADAR UNIT Yes Symptom troubleshooting is completed.
No Replace the radar unit.
