Using M-MDS

CAUTION:
- Do not select "ON" under the following driving conditions.
- The vehicle is used as a police car, taxi, or for driving instruction.
- The vehicle is driven under dusty conditions.
- The vehicle is idled or driven at low speeds for extended periods.
- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- After vehicle identification is completed, select the following from the M-MDS initial screen.
- "Powertrain"
- "Engine Oil Maintenance Monitor"
- "Change setting"
- Select "ON*1" or "OFF" from the M-MDS screen.
*1: When oil inspection/replacement is set to "ON", the engine oil deterioration condition is calculated based on the frequency of engine starts and the distance travelled.
