DTC B00A0:81/B00A0:87 SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location
  • B00A0:81:Occupant classification sensor memory check sum error
  • B00A0:87:No signal received from occupant classification sensor
Detection condition  
WARNING:
  • Detection conditions are for understanding the DTC outline before performing an inspection. Performing an inspection according to only the detection conditions may cause injury due to an operating error, or damage the system. When performing an inspection, always follow the inspection procedure.
  • Error signal is detected between SAS control module and occupant classification sensor
  • SAS control module could not receive CAN signal from the occupant classification sensor for 1 s or more.

  • Occupant classification sensor connector malfunction
  • CAN communication line malfunction
  • Occupant classification sensor malfunction
  • SAS control module malfunction
