Function Inspection

  1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
  2. Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
  3. Display the PID FTP. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST .) (See PCM INSPECTION .)
  4. Compare the voltage and fuel tank pressure indications for the PID FTP with the standard in the table indicated below.
    • If they do not match the standard, perform the voltage inspection. (See Voltage Inspection .)

(1) The fuel tank pressure displayed on the M-MDS indicates the difference between the pressure and the barometric pressure.
