Auto Leveling Control Module Removal/Installation
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2018 Mazda 6. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:
- The auto leveling control module prior to replacement stores the vehicle specification information.
- A new auto leveling control module does not store any vehicle specification information.
- When the ignition is switched ON after the auto leveling control module is replaced, the auto leveling control module reads the vehicle specification information sent via CAN transmission from the instrument cluster using the automatic configuration function, and stores it.
- The auto leveling control module records the vehicle height while it is unoccupied.
- The new auto leveling control module does not record the vehicle height while it is unoccupied.
- If the headlight auto leveling system initialization is performed after replacing the auto leveling control module, the auto leveling control module inputs the vehicle height from the auto leveling sensor and records it while the vehicle is unoccupied.
