Solar Radiation Sensor Inspection

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Center speaker grille (See SPEAKER GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front center speaker (See FRONT CENTER SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the solar radiation sensor. (See SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Shine a fluorescent light or expose the solar radiation sensor to natural sunlight.
- Connect the positive (+) lead to terminal A and negative (-) lead to terminals B, C of the solar radiation sensor, and verify that the voltage value is output.
- If the voltage is0 V, replace the solar radiation sensor. (See SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
