DTC B12E8:12 (POWER LIFTGATE CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description	Power liftgate (PLUG) front switch circuit malfunction
Detection condition	Power liftgate (PLUG) control module detects a short to power supply in the power liftgate (PLUG) front switch circuit.
Fail-safe	Stops the power liftgate (PLUG) system operation.
Possible cause	Power liftgate (PLUG) front switch connector or terminal malfunction Power liftgate (PLUG) front switch malfunction Power liftgate (PLUG) control module connector or terminal malfunction Short to power supply in wiring harness between power liftgate (PLUG) front switch terminal I and power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1Y Power liftgate (PLUG) control module malfunction
