DTC B144F:19 (POWER LIFTGATE CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit motor circuit malfunction |
| Detection condition |
- Power liftgate (PLUG) control module detected a short circuit to power supply in the power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit circuit for 0.5 s or more.

| Fail-safe |
- Stops the power liftgate (PLUG) system operation.
|
| Possible cause |
- Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (LH) connector or terminal malfunction
- Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (RH) connector or terminal malfunction
- Power liftgate (PLUG) control module connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to power supply in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (LH) malfunction
- Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (RH) malfunction
- Power liftgate (PLUG) control module malfunction
