DTC B144F:62 (POWER LIFTGATE CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description	Deviation in operation between left and right power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit
Detection condition	The power liftgate (PLUG) control module detects a difference in operation between the left and right power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit for a 50 pulse count or more.
Fail-safe	Stops the power liftgate (PLUG) system operation.
Possible cause	Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (LH) connector or terminal malfunction Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (RH) connector or terminal malfunction Power liftgate (PLUG) control module connector or terminal malfunction Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals: Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (LH) terminal D-Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1J Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (LH) terminal B-Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1H Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (RH) terminal D-Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1I Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (RH) terminal B-Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1G Short to power supply in wiring harness between the following terminals: Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (LH) terminal D-Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1J Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (LH) terminal B-Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1H Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (RH) terminal D-Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1I Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (RH) terminal B-Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1G Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals: Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (LH) terminal D-Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1J Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (LH) terminal B-Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1H Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (RH) terminal D-Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1I Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (RH) terminal B-Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1G Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (LH) malfunction Power liftgate (PLUG) drive unit (RH) malfunction Power liftgate (PLUG) control module malfunction
