DTC B1495-55: Configuration Data Unmatched With Foot-Motion Detection Unit [Power Liftgate (Plug) Control Module]: Notes

DTC B1495:55 (POWER LIFTGATE CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description	Configuration data unmatched with Foot-motion detection unit
Detection condition	Configuration data of the power liftgate (PLUG) control module and foot-motion detection unit are not matched.
Fail-safe	Stops the hands-free liftgate operation.
Possible cause	NOTE: To correctly write the configuration data sent from the instrument cluster to the power liftgate (PLUG) control module, 30 s or more need to have elapsed since the ignition was switched ON (engine off or on). DTCs are stored in the instrument cluster. Instrument cluster configuration not implemented Instrument cluster internal memory malfunction Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals: Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1C-Foot-motion detection unit terminal 1C Short to power supply in wiring harness between the following terminals: Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1C-Foot-motion detection unit terminal 1C Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals: Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1C-Foot-motion detection unit terminal 1C Instrument cluster configuration data error Foot-motion detection unit malfunction Power liftgate (PLUG) control module malfunction
