DTC B1495:55 (POWER LIFTGATE CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

- Configuration data of the power liftgate (PLUG) control module and foot-motion detection unit are not matched.

| Fail-safe |
- Stops the hands-free liftgate operation.

| Possible cause |
NOTE:
- To correctly write the configuration data sent from the instrument cluster to the power liftgate (PLUG) control module, 30 s or more need to have elapsed since the ignition was switched ON (engine off or on).
- DTCs are stored in the instrument cluster.
- Instrument cluster configuration not implemented
- Instrument cluster internal memory malfunction
- Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1C-Foot-motion detection unit terminal 1C
- Short to power supply in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1C-Foot-motion detection unit terminal 1C
- Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Power liftgate (PLUG) control module terminal 1C-Foot-motion detection unit terminal 1C
- Instrument cluster configuration data error
- Foot-motion detection unit malfunction
- Power liftgate (PLUG) control module malfunction
