DTC U0420:00 (360° VIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY OTHER 360°VIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE DTCs Clear the DTC for the 360°view monitor control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [360°VIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE] .) Retrieve the 360°view monitor control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [360°VIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE] .) Is DTC U3000:41 or U3000:49 displayed?	Yes	Replace the 360°view monitor control module, then go to Step 4. (See 360° VIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) CONTROL MODULE DTCs Retrieve the electric power steering (EPS) control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS)] .) Are any DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS)] .)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY IF MALFUNCTIONING LOCATION IS ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) CONTROL MODULE DEPENDING ON REPEATABILITY Clear the DTC for the 360°view monitor control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [360°VIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE] .) Retrieve the 360°view monitor control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [360°VIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE] .) Is the same Pending DTC present?	Yes	Replace the electric power steering (EPS) control module, then go to the next step. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3		No	Go to Step 5.
4	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED Clear the DTC for the 360°view monitor control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [360°VIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE] .) Retrieve the 360°view monitor control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [360°VIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE] .) Is the same Pending DTC present?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the 360°view monitor control module. (See 360° VIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) Go to the next step.
4		No	Go to the next step.
5	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [360°VIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE] .)
5		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
