Touch Sensor Inspection
NOTE:
- The integrity of the touch sensor cannot be determined from a single part. When inspecting the touch sensor, perform the following procedure.
- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- Perform the DTC inspection for the BCM. (See DTC INSPECTION
.)
- If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) (US)] .)
- If DTCs are not detected, go to the next step.
- Using the M-MDS, display the TOUCH_SEN_LCK_L/F, TOUCH_SEN_ULCK_L/F, TOUCH_SEN_LCK_R/F, TOUCH_SEN_ULCK_R/F for the lf control unit. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION
.)
