DTC B1D9A:79 (RETRACTABLE HARDTOP CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description Exceeds maximum number of pulse counts for front roof link motor (LH)
Detection condition
  • The retractable hardtop control module detects a pulse signal exceeding the maximum number of the pulse counts from the front roof link motor (LH).
Fail-safe
  • Stops retractable hardtop operation
Possible cause
  • Front roof link motor (LH) is disengaged from front roof link (motor idling)
  • Front roof link motor (LH) malfunction
  • Retractable hardtop control module malfunction
