DTC B1DA8-23: Incorrect Top Lock Position [Retractable Hardtop Control Module]: Notes

DTC B1DA8:23 (RETRACTABLE HARDTOP CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description	Incorrect top lock position
Detection condition	The retractable hardtop control module detects the top lock switch ON condition for 30 s when the roof position is at a position other than fully-closed.
Fail-safe	Stops retractable hardtop operation Inhibits the open retractable hardtop operation.
Possible cause	Short to ground in wiring harness between retractable hardtop control module terminal 1G and top lock switch terminal A Top lock switch malfunction Retractable hardtop control module malfunction
