DTC U0031:86 (RETRACTABLE HARDTOP CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description	Communication error with power window main switch
Detection condition	The retractable hardtop control module receives a power window open signal for 30 s or more.
Fail-safe	Stops retractable hardtop operation at fully open position
Possible cause	Short to power supply in wiring harness between retractable hardtop control module terminal 4AD and power window main switch terminal 1J Short to ground in wiring harness between retractable hardtop control module terminal 4AD and power window main switch terminal 1J Power window main switch malfunction Retractable hardtop control module malfunction
