Trunk Lid Weatherstrip Installation: Notes

  1. Clean along the entire perimeter of the flange of the body panel.

  2. Align the trunk lid weatherstrip marking with the body panel marking and install area A of the trunk lid weatherstrip.

  3. Align the trunk lid weatherstrip marking with the connecting area of the body panel and install areas B and C of the trunk lid weatherstrip.

  4. Align the contact point of the trunk lid weatherstrip with the trunk lid lock striker and install area D of the trunk lid weatherstrip.

  5. Install the trunk lid weatherstrip around the entire perimeter in the directions of the arrows shown in the figure.

  6. Press in the trunk lid weatherstrip at the corner areas again.
