With Parking Assist Unit (Optical): Outline

DTC U2035:46 [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE - WITH PARKING ASSIST UNIT (OPTICAL)

System malfunction location Parking assist unit (optical) calibration data parameter error
Detection condition
  • The vehicle control module (VCM) detects that the parking assist unit (optical) received error calibration data from the vehicle control module (VCM) for 10 s.
  • The vehicle control module (VCM) detects a parking assist unit (optical) internal malfunction for 10 s.
Fail-safe (See DTC TABLE [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE (US)] .)
Possible cause
NOTE:
  • Depending on the module, after the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on) or OFF, there is a module that needs 30 s to correctly write the calibration data and configuration data.
  • Calibration error after parking assist unit (optical) replacement
  • The vehicle control module (VCM) or body control module (BCM) stores DTCs.
    • Vehicle control module (VCM) or body control module (BCM) communication error or internal malfunction
  • DTCs are stored in the parking assist unit (optical).
  • CAN circuit communication error between vehicle control module (VCM) and parking assist unit (optical)
  • Parking assist unit (optical) malfunction
  • Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM))
