Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Removal/Installation: Notes

NOTE:
- The engine oil pressure sensor and engine oil temperature sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the engine oil pressure sensor or engine oil temperature sensor, replace the engine oil pressure sensor/engine oil temperature sensor.
- Turn the steering wheel to full right lock.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Lift up the vehicle.
- Remove the front splash shield (RH). (See SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the connector for the engine oil pressure sensor/engine oil temperature sensor using the following procedure:

- Pull out the connector lock in the direction of the arrow.
- Press the lock down in the direction of the arrow and disconnect the connector. (See Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Connector Connection Note .)
- Remove the engine oil pressure sensor/engine oil temperature sensor.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
