DTC U2300-55: Instrument Cluster Configuration Not Implemented: Notes

DTC U2300:55 ADAPTIVE FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM (AFS) CONTROL MODULE DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description Instrument Cluster Configuration Not Implemented
Detection condition
  • The AFS control module received a signal which indicates the instrument cluster configuration is not performed.
Fail-safe
  • The swivel actuator is moved to the center.
  • The headlight leveling actuator is stopped at the position when the malfunction is determined.
Possible cause  
NOTE:
  • To correctly write the configuration data sent from the instrument cluster to the AFS control module, 30 s or more have to be elapsed since the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on).
  • Instrument cluster configuration is not completed.
  • Instrument cluster malfunction
  • AFS control module malfunction
