Center Display Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Meter hood cover (See METER HOOD COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Audio panel (See AUDIO PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Passenger-side decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Center panel (See CENTER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the bolt.

  4. Pull the center display component in the order of arrows (1) and (2) shown in the figure below, and detach clips from the dashboard.

  5. Disconnect the connectors.

  6. Remove the center display component.
  7. When replacing the center display, remove the connectivity master unit (CMU). (See CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT (CMU) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
