Dashboard Disassembly/Assembly
WARNING:
- Handling the passenger-side air bag module improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag module, which may seriously injure you. - Remove the knee bolster. (Passenger's side) (with knee bolster) (See KNEE BOLSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

- Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.COMPONENT DESCRIPTION
1 Nut 2 Screw 3 Center defroster 4 Wiring harness 5 Screw 6 Screw 7 Dashboard member 8 Screw 9 Duct 10 Screw 11 Side defroster 12 Dashboard - When replacing the dashboard, remove the following parts:
- Center ventilator grille No. 1 (See VENTILATOR GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Side ventilator grille (See VENTILATOR GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Center ventilator grille No. 2 (See VENTILATOR GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Switch panel (See SWITCH PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Tweeter (with center display) (See TWEETER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Tweeter hole cover (without center display) (See TWEETER HOLE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Glove compartment striker
- Ambient temperature sensor (with full-auto air conditioner) (See AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER] .)
- Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
