Keyless Receiver Inspection: Notes

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Rear package tray (Refer to REAR PACKAGE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk board (Refer to TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk covering (Refer to TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Bass-box (with Bose ®) (Refer to BASS-BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk box (Refer to TRUNK BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk end trim (Refer to TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Partially peel back the trunk side trim (RH) to the position allowing removal of the keyless receiver. (Refer to TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the connector from the keyless receiver.
- Remove the keyless receiver. (Refer to KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Connect the negative battery cable. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Reconnect the connector.
- Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the terminal voltage table (reference).
- If the voltage is not as specified in the terminal voltage table (reference), inspect the parts under Inspection item(s) and related wiring harnesses.
- If the system does not operate normally even though the parts under Inspection Item(s) and related wiring harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the keyless receiver. (Refer to KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- If the voltage is not as specified in the terminal voltage table (reference), inspect the parts under Inspection item(s) and related wiring harnesses.
