LF Control Unit Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the front scuff plate (RH). (Refer to FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the front side trim (RH). (Refer to FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Disconnect the connector.

  5. While pressing the tabs in the directions of arrows (1) shown in the figure, pull the LF control unit in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the LF control unit from the LF control unit bracket.

  6. Remove the LF control unit from the LF control unit bracket.
  7. Remove the bolt.

  8. While pressing the tabs in the directions of arrows (1) shown in the figure, pull the LF control unit bracket in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the LF control unit bracket tabs from the body.

  9. Remove the LF control unit bracket from the body.
  10. Install in the reverse order of removal.
