Steering Angle Adjustment

Loosen the tie-rod end locknuts.
Remove the steering gear boot clamp.
Rotate the tie rod and adjust the steering angle.
NOTE:
- The travel distance of the right and left tie rods should be the same.
Rotate the tie rod and adjust so that dimension L in the graphic does not exceed the specification.

Specification
- 54-67 mm {2.2-2.6 in}
Tighten the tie-rod end locknuts.
Tightening Torque
- 69-98 N.m {7.1-9.9 kgf.m, 51-72 ft.lbf}
Verify that the boot does not have any twisting and install the boot clamp.
After steering angle adjustment, always inspect and adjust the total toe-in. (Refer to TOTAL TOE-IN ADJUSTMENT .)
