PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE [DSC HU/Control Module]

NOTE:
  • If the PID "STR_ANG_R" is inspected, perform the following procedure before inspecting.
  1. Switch the ignition to off, and maintain this condition forapprox. 3 s.
  2. Set the vehicle wheels in the straight-ahead position.
  3. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).

Inspect the TCS OFF switch (Without Off-road traction assist)/Off-Road Traction Assist switch (With Off-road traction assist).

    NOTE:
    • Constantly indicates 0° until the steering wheel angle neutral position determination by the DSC HU/Control Module is completed.
    • The steering wheel angle neutral position determination by the DSC HU/Control Module is completed when the vehicle is driven in a straight line at a speed of 20 km/h or more for several seconds.
  
Perform the DTC inspection for the PCM, DSC HU/Control Module, and EPS control module. If a DTC is displayed after performing the DTC inspection for the PCM, DSC HU/Control Module, and EPS control module, repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. After performing the DTC inspection, perform the following procedures:
  • Start the engine and drive the vehicle in a straight line at a speed of 20 km/h or more for several seconds.

If an abnormal value is indicated after verifying the value of the STR_ANG_C again, replace the DSC HU/Control Module.

    NOTE:
    • The signal displayed in this item is a steering angle (relative angle) signal output from the EPS control module.
 Inspect the following PID.

Inspect the front ABS wheel-speed sensor.
