DTC U2300-56; Configuration Data Unmatched With Instrument Cluster: Notes

DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description Configuration data unmatched with instrument cluster
Detection condition
  • Configuration data of the blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module and instrument cluster are not matched.
Fail-safe
  • Blind spot monitoring (BSM) system is stopped.
Possible cause
NOTE:
  • To correctly write the configuration data sent from the instrument cluster to the blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module to the blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module, 30 s or more need to have elapsed since the ignition was switched ON (engine off or on).
  • DTCs are stored in the instrument cluster.
    • Instrument cluster configuration not implemented
      • Instrument cluster internal memory malfunction
  • Blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module malfunction
