DTC Inspection [Power Liftgate (PLG) Control Module]: Notes

NOTE:
  • Some of the power liftgate (PLG) system DTCs cannot be stored unless the power liftgate (PLG) system is operated. Therefore, always operate the power liftgate (PLG) system before performing the DTC inspection.
  1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
  2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initialization screen of the M-MDS.
    1. Select "Self Test".
    2. Select "All CMDTCs".
  3. Verify the DTC according to the directions on the screen.
  4. After completion of repairs, clear all DTCs stored in the power liftgate (PLG) control module. (See CLEARING DTC [POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) CONTROL MODULE] .)
