Idler Removal/Installation: Notes

NOTE:

The idler is only installed to vehicles without A/C.

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the drive belt. (See DRIVE BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

Remove in the order shown in the figure.

COMPONENT DESCRIPTION

1	Connector
2	Idler installation bolt
3	Idler (See Idler Installation Note .)

Install in the reverse order of removal.
