DTC B00A0:28 [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.)] - DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location
  • Occupant classification sensor calibration check error
Detection condition
WARNING:
  • Detection conditions are for understanding the DTC outline before performing an inspection. Performing an inspection according to only the detection conditions may cause injury due to an operating error, or damage the system. When performing an inspection, always follow the inspection procedure.
  • Calibration set value not within valid range.
Fail-safe -
Possible cause
  • Occupant classification sensor deformed or malfunction
  • Object placed on front passenger-side seat during calibration of occupant classification sensor
  • Improperly installed front passenger-side seat part at time of calibration
  • Deformed floor where attached to front passenger-side seat
  • Front seat warmer malfunction
  • Power seat malfunction
  • Seat cushion is damp
  • Occupant classification sensor malfunction
  • SAS control module malfunction
