Headlight Leveling Actuator Operation Check Mode [Auto Leveling Control Module]

Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).
Verify that LED headlight warning light is illuminated for 3 s and then turned off.

Turn on the headlights.
After vehicle identification, select in the following order from the M-MDS initial screen.
Type-A
1. "Electrical"
2. "ExteriorLighting"
3. "Headlamp"
4. "Auto Leveling Sensor"
5. "Auto Leveling Actuator Test"
Type-B
1. "Toolbox"
2. "Work Support"
3. "LIGHTING SYSTEMS"
4. "Auto Leveling Sensor"
Verify that the headlight optical axis lowers from the current position and returns the original position after 2 s.
- If the headlight leveling actuator does not operate normally, replace the front combination light. (See FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
