Male Wedge Installation Note

Remove the double-sided adhesive tape on the male wedge.
Remove any grease or dirt from the adhesion surface of the male wedge.
Affix the double-sided adhesive tape to the position shown in the figure.

Remove any grease or dirt from the adhesion surface of the liftgate.
Peel off the backing from the double-sided adhesive tape.
Move the male wedges in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and insert it into the liftgate dovetails.

Fully close the liftgate.
Open the liftgate.
Install in the bolts.
